Continuing Professional Development

I offer an open-ended series of Seminars: CPD Theory-based clinical/work discussion groups for qualified psychotherapists, counsellors and NHS personnel who are interested in the therapeutic potential of relationship.

The Seminars operate with all due regard for client/patient confidentiality. Theory is taken from psychoanalytic and psychodynamic authors, and is intended to encourage inspired psychodynamic work, i.e. with full regard to the developing relationship(s) in the room. The format is intended to encourage participants to bring forward therapy vignettes or situations from any setting that are of concern to them.

If you are interested in joining us, please request a flyer for the series which I will send you by email attachment.

Relational psychoanalysts have developed a way of working that gives ear to the subtleties of interpersonal relationship as vehicle for the unconscious. We open out the relational field as a venture in equality between client/patient and therapist, though each has a different part to discover. This is the basis for my supervision and teaching.
